Golf

Golfers at Palm Beach Polo will find the 36-hole complex in top playing condition, as the result of ongoing improvement projects that ensure maximum playability.

Golfers appreciate the 36 holes of continuous all-weather golf paths, from tees to greens, that allow play to continue during showers or sprinkles without damaging the course. Golfers can fine-tune their skills at the natural grass nine-hole putting course or the chipping green and all-weather covered practice areas as well as the eight acre driving range.

Throughout the year, fairways and greens are properly aerated and nourished to assure green carpeted fairways and true-line greens. New state of the art Champion Bermuda Grass has been installed, and new sand is added wherever needed to improve traps. With all these improvements, every day is a great day for golf at Palm Beach Polo.

Golfers of all skill levels can choose from a diversity of challenges seldom found in one community.

The 18-hole Dunes Course, completed in 1984, is unique to South Florida with its Scottish link style design. Built by Ron Garl and former U.S. Open champion Jerry Pate, it features extensive mounding, pot bunkers, grass traps and fairways full of ripples and swales.

The 18-hole Cypress Course, designed by renowned architects Pete Dye and son P.B., opened in 1989. This unique course which wraps around the 92-acre Big Blue Cypress Preserve, offers a layout for both low and high- handicapped players.

Also, at the Golf Pro Shop, you can test new equipment and try on fashionable golfing attire with the famous Palm Beach Polo logo.
